Description:
Extraordinarily accurate Remington Model 700 in 22-250 Rem which I have had for a bit over two years and was an unused deceased estate safe queen prior to that when I bought it from Melbourne Firearms.
The rifle has a 26inch heavy varmint stainless barrel which has been factory protective coated in dark grey, and sits in a dark grey/black spider pattern H-S precision stock. It is fitted with a Leupold 0-MOA picatinny rail.
The rifle has a very low round count (fewer than 350 rounds through it) including putting it through load development before use on small and large animals. Head shooting at extended ranges because of its superb accuracy no problem for this rifle.
One target photo is a 5 shot group and the other target is the load development photo of 3 shots at 100 metres at 3625 fps chronographed. The 5 cent coin is for scale so you can see how incredibly tight it shoots.
The rifle has been meticulously maintained and stored. It is in absoluty pristine condition.
Fabulous rifle but it's just not getting used for the night shooting I do, so it needs to go to someone who is a skilled long ranger to use it as it deserves.
