Description:
Good condition Lithgow No1 Mk3* 303. Manufactured 12/1943, then was refurbished (FTR) at the Lithgow factory in 1955 for the Australian Air Force (presumably for the Airfield Defence Guards). Stamped 'AF' on the receiver. Matching numbers on bolt, receiver, barrel and bayonet boss, however the forewood is numbered E72398 (may have been swapped out during FTR). Rear sight not numbered. Internal draws are in excellent condition. Not sanded, wire-brushed, drilled or otherwise molested. An honest Lithgow in original military configuration. Overall good to very good condition, barrel about 7/10 with some fine pitting of the grooves about halfway along. Price reduced to $1100 + postage to your dealer.
