Beautiful Ruger Number 1 in 280 Ackley Improved.
Purchased new as a 280 Remington, but immediately converted to 280AI, leaving barrel length and profile unchanged.
Stock has been professionally refurbished with a more fitting English style wax finish.
Rifle presents as new in every way and has no marks, rings, dents scratches or cracks.
Has fired less than 30 rounds in total, from new. Most of these were for liad development. Has accounted for a number of nice fallow, since purchase.
Rifle will come with 88 pieces of Norma 280AI unprimed brass and 2 unused boxes (40) of Hornady 162gr ELD-X Precision Hunter factory loads.
Will also throw in a set of Hornady 280AI loading dies.
Rifle comes with set of 1" factory scope rings.
If purchaser cannot take delivery of the loaded ammunition, it can be pulled down and the brass, bullets and dies posted to purchaser.
This rifle will not disappoint. A classic Scottish style stalking single shot Rifle in a great calibre for medium game here in Australia.
