Savage 3B .22 S, L, or LR Single Shot Bolt Action Rifle.
Savage manufactured these rifles from 1930 through 1952. From 1932 to 1945 these rifles were made with a 26" barrel. This example has a 24" barrel, indicating that it was made after the war, 1945 to 1950.
The top of the barrel is marked “SAVAGE / SAVAGE ARMS CORPORATION / UTICA. N.Y. MADE IN U.S.A. / MODEL 3B” The left side of the barrel has "14" in a circle.
