The Lefever Nitro series is an Ithaca Gun Co. designed and manufactured product. Ithaca bought out the Lefever Arms Co. in 1916. In 1921 they introduced the Nitro Special which was of their design.Mine was made in 1925.
These guns were chambered for 2 ¾ Nitro ammo, so if in good condition can be used to shoot modern off the shelf target loads, not magnums or steel shot.
I have a mutton Leather case advertised elsewhere which if purchased could reduce overall pricing.
