One of the rarely seen Sako-Enfield’s. These were a batch of Lee-Enfield No4 Mk1’s converted by the Sako factory to 243 and 308 and sold only in Australia.

Bofors .243 Sako barrel fitted by the Sako Factory, and the Sako factory stamped them with special Sako serial numbers, ‘Lion’s Head’ proof mark, and ‘N’ inspector’s mark. 12-Land ‘multi-groove’ bore. Stock has been refinished with oil and is very nice to hold and use. Fore-end feels like an early L579 Sako to hold.

Shoots very well, blueing faded, bore has some minor pitting (can't feel it with a patch on a cleaning rod, only see with a borescope) and it shoots very well. Factory ammo goes into ¾ MOA at 100m using the battle sight, better results with a scope. Comes with a front sight adjuster. Has Weaver bases fitted to top of the receiver if you want to use a scope. Blind magazine. New Kick-eez butt pad fitted. Comes with 50 Winchester once-fired cases. Send your email address if you’d like photos.
