Description:
Up for sale is my PRS build. The base is a Howa 1500 action with a Timney tigger unit. The barrel is a custom 28 inch Maddco monster. Originally built for F Class benchrest competitions - the rifle is now bedded into an MDT ACC chassis with a Masterpiece Arms pistol grip (superior to the MDT in my humble opinion).
The rifle is chambered in 6.5x47 Lapua which was created from scratch by Lapua as the ultimate competition calibre (actually very interesting and it doesn’t have a donor case).
I will also be including dies and about 150 Lapua cases (approx 50 unfired but the rest still very serviceable).
On a bench, you can’t miss with this thing at 500 meters. Will happily go out to 1000+.
Probably needs a little more development for PRS competitions. Getting the barrel turned for a muzzle brake and adding some MDT weights to optimise balance. Trigger could also be made a little lighter but on the whole, a great starting platform for anyone looking to get into PRS and learning how to reload.
