Description:
Striking custom FN Mauser 98 in 7x57. …..Action and barrel by well regarded gunsmith Ron Webb and placed in an exhibition grade stock with the most amazing grain patterns I have ever seen. Chequering is extensive ,hand done in fine line with an integral pattern. This is a beautiful custom rifle that closely replicates a English Rigby in its design and composition… but it really has to be seen to be fully appreciated. with light changes being captured and reflected by the multiplicity of grain features in the wood. Barrel cerekoted. ,timney trigger ,bore excellent and bolt face unmarked evidencing little use ,metalwork features a Rams head and scrolling in the hinged magazine plate. Calibre is of course what you would expect in a rifle like this .. the time proven and most highly regarded 7x57 ( 275 Rigby ) Never seen anything to rival this rifle and doubt I ever will ... Comes with bridge mount as shown in photo and priced to sell .Offers considered
