Description:
The bolt pictured here fits a MOSSBERG M395K 12 gauge bolt action shotgun. It most likely also fits the derivative 12 gauge model versions from the same time period too, as I have no info to say otherwise.
This item is fully functional in every respect and has recently been cleaned and re-oiled. It has not seen any abuse or damage or alteration.
The bolt head (bright steel part) rotates independently of the blued rear section. Grooves within the receiver keep everything properly aligned. The sliding safety button is an integral feature of the bolt's rear cap.
As pictured here, the bolt is shown "de-cocked" to better preserve the power of the firing pin spring, hence the protruding firing pin on the bolt's face.
