Spanish Mauser - La Coruna M43
Interesting history. One of an order for armoury re-barreled 7.62 NATO by Fabriqu Nationale La Coruna for an order from Israel during the 1950's. Delivery was stopped by the UN and the rifles were then sold to various wholesalers in the US. Had very little use. Bolt handle has been turned by previous owner and cleaning rod is repro. A clean skin as reciever has been cleaned up with no crests or armoury marks, all removed during rebarreling by armoury. Identical serial numbers clearly visible. Rifling is 90%, everything tight and wood almost perfect. Suit service rifle or, collector. The M43 is considered one of the best K98's made. Reasonable offers considered.
