Here are a few more rifle barrels needing a home.
Their descriptions are as follows (# 1 to # 4 in descending order) :-
# 1. Winchester Model '92, unblued chrome-molybdenum blank chambered in .32-20 WCF, correctly threaded shank and accurately crowned muzzle, 22" long, sporting rifle contour/profile, 1 in 14" twist rate which has proven ideal for this calibre. Needs gunsmith fitting to correctly headspace; cut extractor slot, magazine slots and open sight dovetails. Bore condition is excellent throughout.

# 3. Remington M700 sporting C/M barrel in .25-06 Rem., 23" long, despite a good depth of rifling in the throat it is starting to develop black marks (probably from a lack of proper cleaning) but would still be a useful barrel for someone needing a serviceable rifle. Costed accordingly.

# 4. Israeli Mauser '98 barrel chambered in 7.62 NATO (.308 Winchester) with a bore in an unblemished, unworn condition. Removed to change calibre by previous owner. A nearly impossible find today. 1 in 12" twist rate, 23.6" long.

# 5. Mauser M'98 stepped military contour barrel chambered in 7.62 NATO (.308 Winchester), 1 in 10" twist rate (left hand), 23.2" long. Bore condition is "used" and typical of old military barrels - dullish throughout - still safe to use but nothing great - hence the price. Ideal to restore an unserviceable rifle to a safe working state again.
