1965 Smith & Wesson Model 28-2 Highway Patrolman.
I purchased this S&W revolver from the original owner a number of years ago. It has been a pleasure to own and occasionally shoot.
It is very accurate and in good condition for its age.
The Model 28 Highway Patrolman is a N-frame chambered for the .357 Magnum (& 38 Special) cartridge which was in production from 1954 to 1986. A few of the craftsman features from this time was counter-bored cylinder (recessed chambers), 6 inch pinned barrel with ramped front sight and adjustable rear as well as the large S&W log on the right hand side.
