Wilson Case Gages (gauges) are a chamber size die manufactured to a very strict set of tolerances intended for gauging prepared cartridge cases without the need for vernier calipers. Both ends of each gauge are slightly stepped to indicate the minimum/maximum case length and headspace tolerance. Inserting a sized case into the die will instantly show whether it is correct or incorrect, as well as where the problem is if something needs to be resolved.
Case gauges made for rimmed cartridges indicate to the shoulder of the case as well .... just as for rimless bottlenecked cartridges, thus helping to prevent premature body separations from occurring.
These tools can also be used to gauge finished live rounds and can be very helpful in trying to determine if factory ammunition is properly manufacture to the correct industrial standards.
Each gauge is NEW and comes complete with a comprehensive set of printed instructions (no internet required).
