Tyrol Model 5022 .22LR Repeater.

Description:

Sportwaffen Tyrol was established from the remains of TMH after WW2 in Kufstein, Austria.
Tyrol produced excellent quality sporting rifles right up until their bankruptcy in 1964, after which the assets were taken over by Voere.
This particular Model 5022 is a good & complete example of the Tyrol brand, & by the serial number it would have been manufactured in the early 60's.
This rifle shoots very well & would be a very nice easy to carry Rabbit or Fox farm rifle.
The bluing is consistent, but browning & there is minor surface rust on the magazine & top of the receiver.
The stock is in remarkable original condition with minimal dents or scuffing.
The removable Mauser style rear sights on these rifles have recently been advertised for over $200.00 alone.
This rifle could either be used respectably as is, or easily smartened up. - Sadly, I just need to make some space for my newest project.
