Sportco (OMARK) Model 44 Boltheads - 7.62 NATO

Needing a tighter or looser headspace setting for your favourite Sportco (Omark) Model 44 target rifle?
These boltheads all feature a 7.62 NATO / .308 Winchester size bolt face recess.
The exchangeable bolthead on these rifles allows one to alter the headspace fit thus preventing either the need for excessive force to be applied on closing the bolt; or incipient head separations caused by too much clearance within the chamber.
Boltheads are numbered "0" to "5" and are graduated in 0.002" increments.
# "0" is the "loosest" fit, with each number increasing in tightness 'til # "5" is reached, by which time it's probably time for a new barrel.
NB. New barrels should always be fitted using a "low #" bolthead thus permitting a tighter bolthead to be employed should wear occur in the locking lug recesses over prolonged use.
These boltheads come bare only .... ie. NO EXTRACTOR OR EJECTOR .... thus the extractor and ejector need to be swapped out from the rifle's non-preferred bolthead.
Headspace gauges are a help in determining the correct bolthead required.
