Description:
WW2 Imperial Japanese Navy 1883 officer grade sword in very good condition , cherry blossom decorations throughout, ray skin and wire wrap grip in great condition, gold gilding to hand guard in excellent condition, black leather scabbard with cherry blossom decorated fittings with attachment rings in very good condition, original leather blade washer is present, no chips or rust on blade but could do with a polish. These swords were unofficially carried by senior naval officers until the end of WW2. A fantastic sword and great piece of history, buyer to cover shipping costs.
