Description:
Holland & Holland 12 gauge "Royal" sidelock ejector in excellent condition. Serial number 16773 (1897). 27-inch replacement nitro barrels (by the makers in 1979), tubes engraved "Holland & Holland 13, Bruton Street. London." 2 ¾ inch chambers, bored approximately 1/4 and 1/2 choke, top lever gold inlaid "2", automatic safety with gold-inlaid "SAFE" detail, gold-inlaid cocking-indicators, triggers set for the left hand, best bold scroll engraving, retaining much renewed colour-hardening and finish, 14 1/4 inch boldly-figured replacement straight hand stock, cast for the left shoulder, weight 6lb. 7oz, in a modern Holland & Holland leather case in excellent condition.
The gun was manufactured in 1897.
