Quantum Lite XQ30V operates on 4 AA batteries and comes with a spare battery cartridge. Maximum observation range of a deer size animal is approximately 900 meters. These scopes are designed for use during the night and during the day, and work in inclement weather conditions, including, fog, smoke and rain. Quantum is able to see through obstacles including branches, tall grass and bushes etc. Quantum do not require an external source of light and are not affected by bright light exposure. This scope is in excellent working order and comes with an instruction manual and carry case, and includes free postage.
