CMC MOUNTAINEER 30-06

Description:

CMC Australian Mountaineer (made by Howa) in 30-06 Springfield, the rifle is in excellent condition and has not been fired much at all, blueing is pretty much perfect and is nice and deep, the action is like new, with an inbuilt 5 shot mag, and the trigger is crisp.
The stock is very well finished and has very classic styling, it does have a few handling scratches on the stock as seen in pictures which were from previous ownership, I can only imagine these were from storage as the rifle doesn’t look to have any wear from carrying or use.
I bought it as a romantic idea of owning a classic rifle looking rifle with modern refining and walking the hills chasing deer, however I’ve been too busy to get away to where the deer can be hunted so it’s just not being used.
I’ve shot this rifle at the range for some initial load development and shot two half minute groups with it at 100y, so would be a superb hunting rifle.
