Description:
For sale is a genuine post WW2 British Army No.9 Mk I Pattern Lee Enfield bayonet for use with the Lee-Enfield No. 4 rifle. Includes original scabbard fitted in a black fabric frog.
The bayonet features a black parkerised finish socket, with working lock, with original unsharpened 20cm long blade, War Department arrow/D/E54 (1954 made by Royal Enfield) stamped. Blade slides in and out of the scabbard firmly as it should. The scabbard and bayonet are an original made/issued set and measure 27cm long. There is what appears to be grease staining on the blade which I have not tried to remove.
