Description:
A real warhorse here for sale. Remington 700P 26 inch Remington Varmint profile barrel chambered in ever popular .308, this is a great rifle and although used and loved by it's previous owner has plenty of life in it. Trigger is OEM but crisp with almost no creep and having been returned to Remington for warranty work to correct that era of trigger discharge issues.
This rifle dates to 2012 production just before the acquisition by Freedom Group and the eventual quality slide. The serial number is a 'G' prefix preceding the 'RR' and according to the internet these serials were good enough to be used for M24 builds by the US Army.
Stock is a bit tired but and metal work is steel is good to go. Comes with Night force picatinny rail as well. Great candidate for a refresh into a new stock, I have just decided to go another way to a custom build.
