Up for sale, the Howa 1500 we know and love, this started life as blued steel but has been rattle canned with Krylon and placed in a H-S Precision olive green/web stock purchased aftermarket from The Barn. The blueing was in top order when I sprayed and there is no hidden rust gems for you to find in a few years, I guarantee it.
This also has a Timney trigger fitted and I will provide the factory Howa trigger also.
I previously had this in a Boyd's stock and it was an absolute tack driver on roos. This has gone in the field once since then for sight in and then done no work since. Would estimate 200 rounds through it since I purchased it years ago. I bought a secondary bottom metal to spray and will also provide the original BM which has a steel, not plastic follower. Comes with the picatinny rail but not the Meopta.
Altogether a great gun, an early Howa imported to the U.S. (roll marks on the barrel indicate this) that were a bit better QC'd than those today.
