Description:
Original BRNO Model 1 (1951). 74 year old rifle! (Soviet era markings.) [Note: the serial is not the run number of production, BRNO used random starting numbers for their serials]
Still original premium 'sport' stock (checkered grip) and 2 stage trigger (adjustable), very clean break, smooth action. 2 position safety. Shoots 10c coin sized groups with CCI Standard 22LR (1070 fps) at 25m, I have pictures of my ammo tests.
Comes with the original BRNO 5 round steel mag and 2x 10 round magazines.
All original blueing very little fading and wear on barrel for its age. Butt plate is original. Lynx 3-9x40 duplex 2nd focal plane scope included and already zero'd (25m) for CCI Standard 1070fps. Still has original sling screws.
Most of the BRNO's that end up on the market are post 1960 where the quality dropped slightly. This rifle is a 1951 production Model 1, has all the original components (except ironsights), is in good condition for its age and most of all is VERY functional and groups well.
I won't have the time to shoot this rifle over the next year and have only used it twice in the last 5 months, so instead of making it a safe queen I wish to pass it onto someone who will enjoy it.
