Description:
This is the (stronger) top-eject XTR (Deluxe) model with a good Tasco 1-3.5x20 scope on Weaver side mount so you can still use the open sights for fast acquiring close and moving targets. The cover for the front sight (not shown in photos) has been put back on. Popular for Western Action matches when loaded down and would be very handy for a mob of pigs with normal loads.
The rifle has had very little use, mostly at the range and then as a back up only in several farm hunts. It is considered good for pigs, goats, deer, (even black bear) at moderate ranges. Unlike the original 38-55's the Big-Bore 94's were built to handle more powerful loads which are very impressive with modern smokeless powders. I have rated it 'Very Good' because of overall appearance, although there is very minor surface pitting that is hard to see, mainly on the bottom plate and lever (see photos 3 and 4).
