Description:
Lovely classic semi-custom built on a 1979 Ruger M77 MkI (tang safety). Built long before my ownership, this one remains a charming memoir of the old world classics when gun owners took pride in what they hunted with.
The rifle is in great overall shape, with some finished edges showing light handling wear and proof of carry but no significant damage or heavy marks. It sports unique scrollwork hand engraved on the action, bottom metal and trigger guard, steel grip cap, on the safety release and stippling to the bolt knob. The custom walnut stock is slim in the hands with an open swept grip, pancake cheek piece, mosaic grip cap, an Old English recoil pad and a disc for engraving owner initials which remains blank. The factory Ruger barrel has matching engraving at the shank and a barrel band for sling fitting.
The rifle is priced bare (rings only) but the gloss VXI Leupold 4-12x40 (pictured) can be negotiated into the price if desired.
