GE Lewis & Sons, Box Lock Ejector side by side, with Greener cross bolt. Referred to at the time “ the Gun of the Period”
29” barrels now Iimproved Cylinder and Modified.
Deeley latch forend, British style red recoil pad.
LOP 14 1/4” to front trigger and 13 3/8” to back trigger.
Gun weight is 6lbs. 14 oz.. Tight on the face action, very Good barrels with concave rib and brass bead sight at the muzzle. Maker address on the rib, Birmingham proofed. Also comes with copy of original ledger entry of the sale of the Gun to the Original purchaser, including the custom measurements for the buyer, date was November 6th. 1931. Gun is in VG condition, handles well and excellent Southgate ejectors, as described in Ledger entry.
