Description:
Flawless 358 Winchester custom build on a Sako L579. Serial dates this rifle as late '66 or early '67 but it has been transformed into a stunning piece that presents near new (likely better than it ever was new). Rebarrelled and all metalwork gloss blued by Allan Swan, the rifle now also sports a stunning fiddleback walnut stock with a pancake cheek piece and rosewood grip cap.
Used only sparingly since built but shoots very well with 200gr Interlocks and will make a fine hunting rifle or collectors piece. Hard to find a mark on it - can supply many more photos or even video by request. Buyer will not be disappointed.
Priced bare, but the Conetrol rings and gloss Leupold 2-7 are a perfect match if you would like to discuss them at additional cost. A fine piece of Sako history rebirthed by world-class Aussie workmanship. Plus post.
