A Smith&Wesson model 14-2 marked as 357 magnum on the barrel with a shrouded ejector rod and magnum length cylinder. Unusual configuration and possibly a small run of production for a special order. Sights are as per model 14, partridge front sight with adjustable rear sight with square notch. A six inch pinned barrel with correct width sighting rib. Being a k-frame this particular revolver is like a model 19, occasional 357 magnum usage and 38 special for practice. Fitted with the wide grooved trigger and wide hammer spur as per most examples. Has the wide target grips in walnut( trigger,spur&grips were options). Serial number indicates 1965 manufacture. Good single action trigger with smooth double action pull.
