Rare 358Win Remington 700

Not your every day find, 358 Winchester!


Older Remington 700 living its best life. Manufactured in 1967 according to serial number.

- The obvious facelift it has had is the Greyboe Terrain stock, in woodland camo finish.

- The barrel is a Sprinter barrel and has had approximately 450-500 rounds through it.

Trigger was tuned to 3.5lbs by Rob Bloomfield on the Sunshine Coast.


A fine gun which has become surplus to needs as I'm shooting less and less. Recoil from 358 is comparable to somewhere in between 308 and 30-06.

A reloaders firearm since ammo is non existent on shelves in Australia but brass and projectiles are easily found. Easy to load.

It's not fussy shooting anything but for feeding reliability I suggest pointed bullets. The overall round with blunt/flat nosed stuff tends to be too short and isn't too reliable for feeding if working the bolt quickly.

I do have some projectiles but not too much. 100x Hornady 200gr FTX & roughly 200x 225gr Sierra Game Kings. If that interest you, I can price them up.

I much prefer to deal with serious enthusiasts and not haggle over this.
