Description:
This is an unusual Mauser which started life as a 6.5mm was re-bored to 8mm and restored by DWM in Berlin. This was one of a batch supplied to King Carlos 1 of Portugal. It retains the DWM engraving and year 1904 with Crown and interlocked "C1" engraved on the receiver ring. All parts are polished as these were used mainly for Parade work with little actual firing. It comes with all matching numbers on Action /Bolt/Bayonet and Stock, leather sling.
Condition overall is very good and an accurate shooter, used once at Club shoot, there is also Brass, projectiles & Dies if required. This would be an ideal Collectable for someone.
