Italian Bodeo Officers Model Revolver

Italian Model 1889 model Bodeo Military Revolver.
10.35 mm Italian not 10.4mm Swiss as listed. Rare model.

The revolver was designed in two distinct versions: The Type A Enlisted model, with a folding trigger. The folding trigger version was produced in greater numbers.

The Type B Officer Model Revolvers can be distinguished from Type A revolvers by the presence of a trigger guard. This variation was manufactured by many firms both before and after World War I, and many Type B revolvers were adopted for use by local police forces, as well as the Italian custom's officers.

Good working condition. 3 notches carved in R/H grip.
