Description:

A 1983 Morini CM80 free pistol designed by Cesare Morini, founder of Morini Grips and the first design to be manufactured for Morini Competition Arms. The barrel length is 250mm and the maximum sight radius is 260mm. These were very innovative for the time combining his orthaepedic grip design with 2.3 millisecond lock time, adjustability of the trigger in both length, axis in addition to weight. There is a few degrees of adjustment in the vertical axis in the grip. The grip can be removed and the breech opened to facilitate cleaning the barrel from the rear via a hole in the breechblock. The sights can be rotated around the barrel and varied in their sight radius. For its age there is no corrosion,scratches and just some fading of the blueing around the breech and action lever. Function is good, occasionally sticking with extraction of European ammunition, fine with CCI. Bought on a whim, but can’t adapt to the grip and eyes aren’t too good with open sights.
