Extra heavy Marlin Ballard barrel and forend, possibly from a # 10 Schutzen Junior.
Half octagon barrel. OAL 815mm
Approximately 32mm at the breech
Approximately 28mm at the muzzle
Weight approximately 4.2Kg
The original calibre marking on the barrel is 38-55 however the barrel has been religned to 38-55, but the extractor slot has not been cut
Rear sight slot has had some alteration
Barrel was purchased in 1984 from an American Shooter and never used.
