P14 Enfield .303

Remington P14 Enfield Mk. 1*

Rebuilt from mismatched parts for use as a comp rifle in the SSAA service rifle competition. Winchester made bolt and stock, remington barreled action.

Barrel and crown are in great condition with pleanty of life left.

Rifle is complete, and shoots extremely well out to 500yrds open sights.

Webbing sling is the longer 58" sling which is a bit more versatile for competition shooting than the earlier 46" SMLE slings.

Comes with the following spares:
- modified magazine floor plate: modified with a rear taper so the bolt can close on an empty magazine without having to manually depress the floor plate.
- mk1* bolt body: bolt face in good condition.
- Blank front volly sight plate, with the dial removed & rear volly sight blank spacer (for if you want to remove the voley sights, as most were).
- fine adjust rear sight and spring: as fitted to the designated marksman and sniper variants.
- leather M1907 sling: original, usable but in fragile condition. Good for show.

Selling because i am downsizing my collection, I have multiple .303s and i just prefer shooting my SMLEs
