The Reason for Sale
This Puma has been a great little rifle, but the 9-round tube capacity doesn’t meet the minimum of 12+ we need for SASS mounted/Cowboy Action stages, so it’s time to pass it on to someone it’ll suit better.

Mechanically and cosmetically it’s in excellent, near-new condition — this isn’t a rifle being moved on because of a fault, purely a capacity mismatch for our stage requirements.

Current new RRP for this 16” stainless Puma Classic in .38 Spl/.357 Mag sits around $1,600–$1,700 at Australian retailers — Adelaide Gun Shop has it listed at $1,630, and the SSAA’s own review of the model noted it retailing for around $1,700. This near-new example with only ~120 rounds through it represents excellent value against that new price.
