Description:
This 1950's manufactured rifle is the pinnacle development of the Schmidt-Rubin model 1896. With a front locking straight pull bolt it is a much stronger action and has the legendary accuracy. This rifle has had a careful stock refinishing with all original Swiss marking retained. The bluing is near perfect as is the barrel & action. Providence is retained with the original tag under the bit plate with all details of the issue. It comes with an original Swiss stamped leather sling, a period correct bayonet, protective muzzle cap. Also included are a very rare Training Charger Clip & 6 original inert Training Rounds plus an original cleaning pouch with unused implements. A set of Lee collect dies and reloading data plus 20 factory rounds and 35 once reloaded rounds are included.
