I paid top dollar for this one about 15 years ago, but its the best I've seen..
Its completely functional.
FWIW, I much prefered the simpler #1 for hunting, as the #2 is too complex and more to go wrong (imho.)
Graduations are all very clear, with vg knurling, and no gouges or scrapes.
Marks appearing on screw mount holes are not as dramatic as seen with the digital cam, nothing even remotely like it.
I'm very sad to be selling these Winchester parts, but if you have a genuine 1885, you need genuine antique sight fittings on it imho. Forget the cost..... scarcity, condition and quality are what count with collectible rifles.
Price is firm.
