Description:
Winchester Model 1892 with 24" round barrel.
Barrel is stamped with the same serial number as the receiver & also "32 20 115" and in very very good condition with almost no pitting in the rifling. This barrel may not be original?
A very accurate rifle.
Forestock screw on LHS is not original.
Hand checkering of the stock is a bit rough (see photo) however the wood is in good condition with no cracks.
Rear sight looks like a replacement stamped "PAT FEB 22:27"
The hammer sometimes doesn't cock with the lever action, however is fine when manually cocked.
