Description:
Strong reliable accurate hunting rifle. Douglas feather weight barrel. Gun smithing by Dick Sharp, full hand lapped action, slide safety, adjustable Timmy trigger, decorative floor plate. No rust or marks on the bolt, bolt face or action.
Comes with weaver bases fitted and Leopoldo 1” scope rings not pictured.
Stock custom made by Geoff Slee, features full wrap forend hand checkering and extended grip checkering, cheek piece, glass bedding, fully floated barrel chanel quality recoil pad, sling swivel studs. Stock has a boiled linseed oil finish.
Rifle is very accurate and shoots 3/4 moa 3 shoot groups consistently at 100 & 200 metres. Shoots moa at 300m. It always hits point of aim on the first shoot/cold barrel.
It was built as a light weight hunting rifle & has been used for that purpose. Stock has a few little rub marks. Bluing is 95% with no rust. Chamber, throat and rifling are in very good to excellent contion.
Has fired around 350 rounds.
