This rifle is a piece of 'Australian Firearms History'.
Manufactured by W.E. Ekins, ADELAIDE possibly between 1887 - 1895.
Lever action martini chambered in 44-40 Winchester calibre.
Right side of receiver engraved with W.E. EKINS & Co. KING WILLIAM STREET, ADELAIDE.
Fitted with Marple vernier rear peep sight, and 3 position (100yd, 200yd & 300yd) front sight.
Good bore, some minor pitting, scratches to receiver/barrel and dings to stock.
Displays fine engraving on barrel and receiver.
