Owen Gun Bayonet, last version, made Lithgow MA 53.
I have had this bayonet for a log time , but I never had a scabbard for it.
I recently managed to find the exact correct scabbard for the bayonet, now both the scabbard and the bayonet have the correct Lithgow Arms factory MA 53 production date. The first lot of bayonets for the Owen gun were cut down long bayonets then they manufactured the short bayonets during WW2 at the Orange factory then during the Korean war another lot of bayonets for the Owen gun bayonets was ordered and made at the Lithgow arms factory, this bayonet and scabbard is from the last Lithgow made lot that was dated 53,
