Description:
Reidl Rifle Company of California custom falling block centre-fire action.
As required by Victorian firearms legislation this action has been nominally registered as .308 calibre rifle in Victoria - but as it is not currently barrelled the registered calibre can be amended by a buyer to any std or magnum centrefire calibre.
The breech block face(see foto) - shows virtually no sign of wear/use. A foto of a complete rifle is also attached for demonstration purposes. Reidl actions are suitable for all calibres up to magmum cartridges. The method of securing a barrel to the action with both thread and a cross screw (screw is seen partly out in the fotos) allows construction of a take-down style rifle if desired
