K98 with Bayonet - rendered for display only

For sale my K98 & bayonet. Fantastic display piece for your mancave or gunroom. The rifle is rendered innocuous and cannot be fired, it is for display only and no licence or permit required in WA. Bolt cycles and trigger works however the reciever is welded so it cannot accept a cartridge and barrel is also drilled & welded. Cannot be made to fire again. Comes with gunsmith issued render certificate.
This rifle is a mixed bag being originally a GEW98 converted to K98 by the Gemans for WW2 use and then again converted to 7.62 by the Israelis. Rifle bears the original German markings as well as the Israeli 7.62 markings engraved onto the receiver and branded into the stock. Comes with a reproduction sling. The bayonet is a genuine K98 issue with matching serial number to scabbard but does not match to rifle. Bayonet is by EuF Horster and dated 1939. It has the bakelite grips, it is in used worn condition but overall quite good for its age. Leather frog is original dated 1938. Only selling as I have nowhere to display it. Selling as complete package not interested in seperating. Worth the asking price just for the bayonet & sling. Not interested in posting so looking to sell to WA buyer collect only Perth.
