Description:
I bought this new, still in the grease paper in 2011. I used it for a season in the historic class of civilian service rifle South England division. Which I won. I carried it back to Oz from London and have used it twice since. Round count is very low. Has more shiny rifling than any gun I've ever seen.
All matching numbers. Except the bayonet. There's a story behind that which may be of interest if you want everything matching. English proof marks engraved. Original magazine never used. Oil bottle, sling, pull through, etc may not be original but came with the gun. Original Ladder sights. All tooling marks on action still visible. All original blacking still on the metal. Has been accurised by Armalon London. Which I believe is just tensioning everything correctly and putting 7 lb pressure on the barrel Forend. A shooter or a showpiece. Please make offers reasonable. I'd rather throw it in the sea than get less than I paid for it.
