Description:
I have owned this BSA CF2 .222 rifle for 42 years. I acquired it in 1979, I believe it was made in 1974.
It comes with a quality bridge mount and a Tasco World Class 3-9 x 40 scope. It has been bore sighted with this scope but will need sighting in.
I would say that I have fired less than 1,000 rounds. It has a silky-smooth bolt action as good or better than the best European rifles it was built to compete with. I have always cleaned and stored it properly after use.
As you would expect at this age, it does have some blemishes such as some minor scratching under the rear of the butt and on the trigger housing / magazine floor plate. Also, a couple of small rub marks on the barrel from transport which I blued. Since purchase it was missing the front sight hood and the slide of the rear sight but that never worried me because I always used a scope.
