Description:
This purpose built range rifle features a hefty 35" Green Mountain octagonal barrel (1 1/8 " AF ) chambered for the .45-90 round. The barrel is excellent both inside & out and almost appears unfired. The 78 action is a close cousin of the 1885 Win , both designed by Browning. The action is in excellent condition and a collectors item in it's own right as they are no longer made. the trigger is a gem. The vernier tang sight is by MVT (Montana Vintage Arms) & is in top condition. The rifle comes with 100 new .45-90 cases and 50 odd patched bullets. The buyer will have the option of buying a Lyman Postell 530 gr mould and or a RCBS 500gr mould at very reasonable prices. Both are in near mint condition. Freight to be paid by buyer,
