Description:
Amazing condition for over 100 years old appears to be original Finnish, the blue is 95%
The stock has some handling marks, but sound, the bore is bright and shinny with strong rifling ,buck horn rear sights
Mod 53 was essentially a mod 1892, but offered with some extras , set triggers, takedown, deluxe wood etc
They were introduced in 1924 and discontinued in 1932 some 24,900 were made ,this makes the quite rare compaired to other Winchester models
I have only fire it once in the many years l have owned it and it functions perfectly
A amount of factory ammunition comes with the rifle if you are local
