Winchester 52D built in 1962, these were the finest rimfire rifles built by Winchester
The Sporter version sells for $5000 us +
This is the heavy barrel target mod single shot fitted with a custom walnut thumb hole stock siuted to benchrest
The metal work and blueing is at 98% the wood the same
The match trigger is superb, this action was the basis for many match winning custom rifles, l have examined the bore with a bore scope and it looks perfect
I have only shot it once in the 10 years l have owned it as l principally shoot center fire benchrest
To have the stock built today would cost in excess of $2000
Great entry level rimfire benchrest rifle or fit a stainless match barrel and compete at National level
