Description:
Fantastic overall condition for an old rifle, low round count, excellent bore.
Factory records, inspected 23.9.1965
Bofors stamped barrel with 12 land bore.
M stamped receiver.
Australian bolt with short cocking piece.
Bolt face is not damaged.
‘S’ magazine release.
Small loop sling swivels (rarely seen; most old Sako’s have the larger loop swivels).
Barrel has been bedded and floated.
The blueing is in great condition, a few very small marks, and slight wear around the muzzle.
The stock finish is very good to excellent, the checkering is in excellent condition.
Pachmayr Decelerator butt pad fitted (option of a Sako hard plastic butt plate).
