Sako L579 243 Sporter
Serial No 312839.
From the 2nd production run of L579’s, so it has the heavier, stiffer sporter barrel. A very nice example of the classic Sako 243 sporter rifle.
Bore has been bore-scoped and is excellent+; few rounds shot.
External blueing is excellent.
Bolt face is perfect.
Stock is in very good condition, some minor wear & tear from use, some figure in the timber, perfect checkering. Still has the original Sako Bakelite butt plate.
It has been bedded and floated, very accurate, well under 1 MOA at 100m, with factory Federal 80gn Power Shok’s, or ADI/87gn Hornady V Max’s.
Nice trigger.
